Silicon anodes and solid-state with lithium metal anodes

Novali develops and manufactures lithium-ion batteries for the automotive industry. It has access to three generations of cell technology. Besides state-of-the-art cells it plans mass production of next generation batteries with high energy densities: silicon anodes and solid state with lithium metal anodes.

The company aims to finance multiple gigafactories by 2026. For a 20GWh factory in Belgium production is scheduled to start in 2024. The other factories will be built in Europe, Asia and North America together with automotive partners. The locations for these other factories have not yet been decided.
